The Last of the Summer Sun

I've been trying so hard to catch up with myself posting about the things I've been up to, and I almost completely forgot to write about my sisters engagement party!

It was planned to be autumnal, since it was the end of September we had no idea how the weather would be, and knowing England it was probably going to be rotten...Man were we wrong! it was glorious weather! I think it ended up being the last really hot and sunny day of the summer, which was absolutely fantastic, we pulled out the barbecue threw a bunch of blankets on the grass and enjoyed the last of the summer sun with friends and a fabulous celebration!

For our last day in Mallorca we headed back into the mountains to drive to the islands most northerly point, Cap Formentor!

For our last couple of days in Mallorca, we rented a car and ventured further afield.

We wanted to see more of Mallorca than just the town we were staying in so, we hopped on a bus and visited the nearby  historic town of Pollença and Port de Pollença. They were both so beautiful even on the slightly cloudy day we chose to go!

I'm sorry I haven't put up a post in a while, everything has been a bit manic since I got back from my holiday, and I haven't had the energy to sit down and blog. After a couple of really rubbish days, that have left me feeling pretty hurt and angry, I have felt even less like blogging, but I need a pick me up, and I can't think of a better thing to help me keep feeling positive, than reliving my beautiful holiday!
